| Plant a row for Windsor Human Development |
Are you growing a garden this year? Why not plant a row for your hungry neighbors in need! All vegetables are welcome but the following are especially needed at the pantry: beans, carrots, onions, peppers, squash, lettuce, peas, radish, and tomatoes. You can drop off your extra produce on Tuesday or Thursday from 10-11am at our facility on Kent St., Windsor. Team up with a friend or neighbor and donate your extra produce which helps us supply fresh food for our families in need. Or if you have an extra plant or two, bring it to the pantry as we have started a small garden to help supplement our pantry. We could also use help getting the garden presentable for the wonderful donated plants. It would require cleaning out the weeds from last year, tilling the soil, and adding compost. Any one interested please contact Carol at 607-765-7936
