The Windsor Partnership

The Windsor Partnership is a highly organized and energized group of local residents, all of whom are volunteers. The Partnership is devoted to promoting the fantastic attributes of the Greater Windsor area. Low home prices, virtually zero crime, well recognized schools, wonderful art and culture opportunities and talent, and the peace and quiet of a truly historic community are but a few reasons why many have elected to raise their families or start a business here.

The partnership while only two (2) years old has already had numerous successes. First and foremost the Window on the Arts Festival held for the very first time in September 2008 was a tremendous success. The event consisted of over 30 professional artists, day long musical acts and a wonderful food court comprised of local restaurants and not for profit organizations. All in all, the Festival was a tremendous success with well over 2,000 folks enjoying the art, music and the overall beauty and charm of Windsor.

The Windsor on the Arts second annual event is scheduled for Saturday, September 26th 2009 on the Village Green in the heart of the Village of Windsor.

Other initiatives of the Partnership include the following:

Economic, Industrial, and Community Development

Main Street Beautification and renovation

Securing Grant Funding and working with local, state and national representatives to secure:

            Waste Water Treatment Facilities

            New Sidewalks / roadway improvements
